FEEDER CABLES AND JUMPERS
For connecting base stations with antennas, using high quality coaxial cables installed in severe climatic environments.
Usually they are “corrugated” copper coaxial cables whose diameter is usually from size ¼” up to 1 ”5/8.

RADIATING CABLES
(LEAKY CABLES)
Radiating cable is a kind of coaxial cable with gaps or slots in the outer conductor. This means that part of the RF signal transmitted in the cable is coupled to the outer space through the outer conductor slots.
Vice versa the RF signal of the outer space is coupled into the inner part of the radiating cable through the outer conductor slots.
Consequently the radiating cable can be seen as a transmission line and as a transmitting-receiving antenna. They are usually used where common antennas would not provide adequate coverage, as e. g.
in the weak or blind areas of mobile communications.
